For many years, Laura spent most of her free time on her two favorite hobbies, creative projects and helping people plan their parties and weddings. With a background as an engineer and a degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana in Structural Engineering, her organization and problem solving skills are well refined. Though Laura had a successful career as a structural engineer, she decided to follow her true passion, and that's when she became an event coordinator & wedding consultant. Laura had always enjoyed planning her friends’ parties, especially the weddings.

Finally, with some encouragement from her friends, family and a devoted husband, she established Sentimental Dreams. Laura is able to use the skills and connections she has developed from helping others plan numerous events in order to deliver a unique experience to her customers throughout the Chicagoland area. Her organizational skills, negotiation savvy and special attention to her customer's desires and needs have been invaluable in working with vendors, staying within a budget, and creating beautiful, flawless events for clients.
